Recover with gentle, controlled cold therapy.
Hilotherm is a modern hilotherapy system used in clinics and at home to reduce swelling and pain after surgery or injury — safely, precisely and comfortably.
What is Hilotherm therapy?
Hilotherapy is continuous, temperature-controlled cold-water therapy. A quiet device circulates water through soft cuffs that hug the treated area — most often the face, jaw, knee, shoulder or ankle. The temperature stays constant for as long as your clinician recommends, so healing tissues receive gentle, uninterrupted cooling.
Simple, quiet, comfortable.
Controlled cooling
A small bedside device circulates temperature-controlled water (usually 10–20 °C) through soft, anatomically-shaped cuffs placed over the treated area.
Gentle, constant relief
Unlike ice, the temperature stays stable for as long as needed. This calms swelling and pain without the discomfort or risk of skin injury from ice packs.
Guided by your team
Your clinician sets the temperature and duration based on your surgery or condition. You can rest, read or sleep while the device works.

Important information
Hilotherm is a medical device. The information on this page is for general education only and does not replace professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
- Hilotherm therapy must be prescribed and supervised by a qualified healthcare professional.
- It is not recommended in cases of cold intolerance (e.g. Raynaud's), certain circulatory disorders, or over areas with impaired sensation, unless your doctor decides otherwise.
- Follow the temperature, duration and cuff-placement instructions given by your medical team.
- If you notice unusual skin discoloration, numbness or discomfort, stop the therapy and contact your clinician.
